Match Preview | Cambridge City vs Weymouth

Josh Barton |Β

The Terras make the hideously long journey to play Cambridge City at St Ives. We should state that this is weather and pitch permitting..

Weymouth will go into the match having won back to back games, firstly, a 6-1 away win at King’s Lynn, followed by Saturday’s comfortable 3-0 home win against Cinderford. Obviously this promises to be a bigger test as Cambridge won 3-1 against Chesham on Saturday and they go into the match knowing that they need points to get themselves away from the drop! Ironically, a Cambridge win tonight would drag the magpies into further trouble. It’s a win, win tonight then.. I joke of course!

Calvin Brooks and Ben Thomson are expected to miss the trip this evening, still carrying injuries. Apart from that, to our knowledge, everyone is fit and raring to go! We expect Dean Evans to come back into the side and apart from that, there shouldn’t be any wholesale changes.

Ryan will be there tonight representing UTMS. He’ll be singing songs, putting the flags up, doing the twitter updates, taking photos and talking to Eric.

Cheers!
